I totally agree with guidelines that FTC & FDCPA have promulgated for the debt collector. More often, I’m approached when trying to do my job in collections, that a previous debt collector has comitted numerous violations. Additionally, you get the irrate, obnoxious customers as well, but I understand from all the previous attempts that have been made. I am a professional, and stand honored in giving and receiving the same respect. I’m a people person and like to get to know my customer and offer whatever assistance to make this a “WIN-WIN” situation.
