CMN Gives Back
Each month, Consumer Media Network donates to charity nominated by employees – we look to help those closest to us.
In 2012, we’ve raised money, support and recognition for:
- Waymaker Life Strategies, a Houston organization that supports inner-city youth
- Kipp Academy Houston
- Houston Area Women’s Center, a place for men and women who are victims of domestic abuse, rape or sexual assault
- Literacy Advance of Houston, providers of reading tutoring for free to adult learners and people who speak English as a second language, as well as promotes literacy in children with Literacy Nights in local elementary schools
- Houston Food Bank
- Harmony House, a transitional supportive housing center to homeless working men with disabilities
- The Women’s Home, a place where women with issues like substance abuse and mental health can rehabilitate so they can function in society again
- Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
- Little Pink Houses of Hope, which provides week long beach retreats in the Carolinas for breast cancer patients and their families
